The number of COVID infections surpasses one thousand in BiH, 40 people died

SARAJEVO, November 17 (FENA) - In Bosnia and Herzegovina, a total of 3,913 samples were tested in the past 24 hours, of which 1,052 were positive for Covid-19.

A total of 40 people died, 23 of them in the Federation of BiH, with four deaths reported retroactively, and 13 in the entity of Republika Srpska. So far, 12,026 people have died in Bosnia and Herzegovina as a result of coronavirus infection.

In the past 24 hours, a total of 2,913 samples were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH, of which 737 were positive for SARS-CoV-2. New cases have been registered in all the cantons in the Federation of BiH.

Twenty-three people died in the Federation of BiH in the past 24 hours.

A total of 878 laboratory samples were tested at the Institute of Public Health of the RS, and coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) was confirmed in 286 people. 13 deaths were reported.

In the Brčko District of BiH, 29 new cases of coronavirus infection were registered, and a total of 122 samples were tested.
