SARAJEVO, November 24 (FENA) - Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Zoran Tegeltija, Ministers of Finance and Treasury and Security Vjekoslav Bevanda and Selmo Cikotić talked today in Sarajevo with European Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighborhood Policy Oliver Várhelyi about the current political and economic situation in BiH and the region, as well as the European integration process.
Tegeltija thanked the Commissioner for the continuous engagement and support of BiH in the process of integration into the European Union and his commitment to the future perspective of the Western Balkans region, emphasizing that a stable and prosperous Balkans is in everyone's interest.
In that context, Chairman Tegeltija emphasized the importance of implementing the Economic and Investment Plan for the Western Balkans, with the aim of overcoming the economic challenges caused by the coronavirus pandemic and improving the quality of life of citizens.
They also discussed current political challenges in BiH, Chairman Tegeltija stressed the need for internal dialogue, without threats and the imposition of a solution and consistent respect for the Dayton Peace Agreement, the BiH Council of Ministers said.
