BiH registers 218 new coronavirus cases and 18 fatalities in the last 24 hours

SARAJEVO, November 28 (FENA) - In the past 24 hours, 218 new cases of coronavirus infection (SARS-CoV-2) have been registered in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and 18 deaths have been reported as a result of COVID-19.

In the past 24 hours, a total of 1,321 samples were registered with the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH, of which 141 were positive for SARS-CoV-2, but KCUS did not submit data for the previous 24 hours.

A total of 977,719 samples have been tested so far, and SARS-CoV-2 has been confirmed in 175,048 individuals in FBiH.

In the past 24 hours, five people from the Sarajevo Canton died in the Federation of BiH, while one death was reported retroactively. The total number of deaths in the Federation of BiH is 6,922.

In the last 24 hours, 191 laboratory samples were tested in laboratories in Republika Srpska, and coronavirus was confirmed in 67 people.

Twelve deaths were reported to the RS Institute of Public Health.

So far, 89,535 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in the RS, and a total of 5,160 coronavirus-positive people have died.

Today, ten new cases of coronavirus infection were registered in the Brčko District of BiH, and one person died.
