SARAJEVO, November 29 (FENA) - A professor of e-sports at the University of New Haven in the United States and one of the speakers at the upcoming conference "Sarajevo Unlimited", Jason Chung, said in an interview with FENA, that he expects major growth of the segment of esports and online gaming industry because institutional investors are becoming increasingly comfortable with the esports and gaming world.

"Additionally, I expect esports and gaming to be at the forefront of activity with regard to the metaverse and savvy providers access Gen Z audiences at the forefront of technology and audience engagement," Chung explains.

He added that he has been long fascinated with the intersection of sport and technology.

"As a former athlete in solo sports such as taekwondo and in team sports like football and rugby, I was motivated by competition. As gaming continued to grow as a part of my life and culture generally, I began to look at it as a logical evolution of such competition," said Chung.

He noted that if 'Sarajevo Unlimited' can marshall the right movers together and also help guide that collaboration, it can be a force for growth in BiH.
