ZENICA, December 1 (FENA) - Officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) have been carrying out an operation in the City of Zenica since this morning, aimed at searching the premises and arresting suspects for alleged embezzlement committed in the Public Utility Company Zenica-Trans for passenger transport, confirmed for FENA the spokesperson of the Prosecutor's Office of the Zenica-Doboj Canton Asmira Redžić.
"I can only confirm that the operation is ongoing and that we will know more information after its completion," Redžić pointed out.
At the beginning of the year, SIPA exempted the documentation from the City Administration of Zenica and the mentioned company, and the target of the investigators was the seizure of the Bus Station Zenica by the City Administration.
The ZDC Prosecutor's Office conducted an investigation against Zenica Mayor Fuad Kasumović and his associates, including the City Attorney Zlatko Osmanović, the then director of "Zenica-Trans" Besim Husaković, and the President of the Supervisory Board Vahdet Drino.
