ZENICA, December 5 (FENA) - The Zenica Cantonal Court accepted the request of the Zenica-Doboj Canton Prosecutor's Office and issued a decision ordering one-month custody for Zenica Mayor Fuad Kasumović and Vahdet Drino, while three people were released to defend themselves and were imposed with prohibitive measures.

Kasumović and Drino, who was the president of the Supervisory Board of the public enterprise "Zenicatrans" dealing with passenger transport, were arrested on December 1 in the operation of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), code-named "Zenicatrans".

On the order of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of ZDC and the Cantonal Court of Zenica, and due to the suspicion that they committed organized crime to the detriment of the city's company, over which bankruptcy proceedings were opened, several people were arrested.

According to the ZDC Prosecutor's Office, the group undertook these activities "with the aim of causing bankruptcy of the company" and with the aim of damaging creditors and preventing the Tax Administration of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the largest creditor, from collecting its claims against the taxpayer.
