SARAJEVO, December 5 (FENA) - On the occasion of the death of Senator Bob Dole, a great friend of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its citizens, the BiH Presidency Chairman Željko Komšić extended his deepest condolences to US President Joe Biden and the family former Senator Dole.
"The death of Senator Dole is a great loss for freedom and democracy in the whole world and especially for us in Bosnia and Herzegovina. We will never forget the great support that Senator Bob Dole provided to the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina in its most difficult moments and during the fight for its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Senator Bob Dole made a clear distinction between those who were fighting for an internationally recognized state and outlaws from international law, and he was one of the strongest voices about the truth of our just fight," said Chairman Komšić in a post on his Facebook profile.
"We are grateful to Senator Dole for pointing out all the destructiveness of the policies within Bosnia and Herzegovina that endangered peace, security and prosperity of citizens and the state countless times after the aggression on the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina had already taken place," Komšić also points out.
