SDA: Dodik's announcements show fear, general elections will be held

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, December 6 (FENA) - Milorad Dodik's threats that he will prevent the holding of the next general elections from taking place show exclusively his fear of the electoral will of dissatisfied citizens in the RS entity and the imminent loss of power.

The SDA states that the general elections in BiH must be held in October 2022. A political group that received the support of only one-tenth of the total number of registered voters cannot and will not deny the vast majority of citizens their democratic right.

"If the SNSD or any other political party does not want to participate in the general elections, then it will be their choice that no one can deny them.

This will certainly not prevent other political parties from participating in the 2022 General Elections, and in particular will not prevent citizens from exercising their basic political right given to them by the Dayton Peace Agreement, the BiH Election Law and a number of other regulations.
