The market basket for November amounts to 2,190.30 KM

SARAJEVO, December 8 (FENA) - Market basket calculated by the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Bosnia and Herzegovina for November this year amounts to 2,190.30 KM and is 88.59 KM more expensive than the market basket for October. 

The average salary paid in the Federation of BiH for September 2021 was 998 KM (the latest data published by the FBiH Bureau of Statistics) and two KM lower than the amount in the previous month. The coverage of the Trade Union Market Basket with the average salary is 45.56 percent.

When making the Trade Union Market Basket, the average salary paid in the Federation of BiH was taken into account, as well as the minimum living costs of a family of four consisting of two adults and two children, one of whom is in high school and the other in primary school, announced the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of BiH.

The market basket itself consists of categories: food - 48 percent; housing and communal services - 14.2 percent; hygiene and health maintenance - 8.6 percent; education and culture - 6.4 percent; clothing and footwear - 11 percent; transportation - 6.3 percent and household maintenance - 5.5 percent.

In the category of food, prices from three shopping centers for 83 items were used. When it comes to hygiene and maintaining health, the costs for 12 items are included, and for housing and communal services the costs for six items.
