SARAJEVO, January 7 (FENA) - The BiH Presidency member Mladen Ivanić hosted a reception on Friday evening in Sarajevo for representatives of public, political and social life in BiH on the occasion of the Christmas celebrated by Orthodox Christians on January 7.
Ivanić on this occasion said that Christmas is a holiday that promotes two key values - love and peace.
“That is what we need at this time. Love, in order to understand others and those different from us, and peace in order to prosper together,” said Ivanić in his address.
The time we live is burdened with problems and troubles, and people are just wondering when things will get better.
All of us together, we need to be better people, abstain from conflict, show more tolerance and love in order for it to make it better for everyone.
Ivanić congratulated Christmas to all Orthodox Christians in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro and around the world.
The reception was attended by Chairman of the BiH Presidency Dragan Čović, BiH Presidency member Bakir Izetbegović, BiH Council of Ministers Chair Denis Zvizdić, representatives of religious communities in BiH, diplomatic corps, and a large number of individuals from BiH's political and public life.
