SARAJEVO, January 9 (FENA) - Deciding upon the Prosecution Motion to order the Suspect Almir Krnjić into custody, on 8 January 2018, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina rendered the Decision granting the Prosecution motion and ordering the suspect into custody.
According to the decision, custody may last one month, more precisely, until 6 February 2018, or a new decision of the Court.
Reviewing the submitted evidentiary material, the Court has found the existence of grounded suspicion that the Suspect committed the criminal offense alleged against him, and ordered him into custody due to the existing circumstances that justify the risk of flight and a justified risk that if at liberty he might influence witnesses and accessories or hinder the criminal proceedings by destroying or hiding the evidence.
Almir Krnjić is suspected of the criminal offense Organized Crime in violation of Article 250 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina as read with the criminal offense of Illicit Trafficking in Arms and Military Equipment in violation of Article 193(1) of the CC of BiH, stated the BiH Court.
