Slovenian Ambassador visits SIPA

EAST SARAJEVO, January 17 (FENA) – Director of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) Perica Stanić received today in an inaugural visit the newly-appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to BiH, Zorica Bukinac, and the Slovenian police attache in BiH Matjaž Šinkovec.

Mr. Stanić informed the guests about the competencies and organizational structure of SIPA, the priorities of work in the fight against organized crime, terrorism, serious financial crime, corruption and other crimes, as well as the role that this agency performs in the security sector of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

They also discussed the directions and modalities of future cooperation in issues of common interest and current security issues.

Ms. Bukinac expressed satisfaction with the successful cooperation, as well as the expectation that it will be continued and further strengthened, SIPA said.
