SARAJEVO, January 18 (FENA) - The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina at today’s session adopted the Work Program of the Foreigners’ Affairs Service for 2018.

The BiH Security Minister Dragan Mektić said after the session that, after the cut of massive influx of migrants to Europe, the problem of migrants has become a serious impediment for Bosnia and Herzegovina because it has found itself in a situation of being a new route for illegal migration.

Mektić recalls that he has already spoken about this issue at several meetings in Brussels and Warsaw, when it comes to meetings at the EU level.

"The numbers may not be that large when it comes to the EU, but it is creating a serious problem for BiH,” said Mektić.

He added that, to date, BiH has managed to deal with the problem, noting that it is of utmost urgency to keep this problem under control and within the capacities that BiH can sustain.
