BANJA LUKA, January 30 (FENA) - It is necessary to improve the economic cooperation between Japan and Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is currently not at a satisfactory level, said Kazuya Ogawa, the Ambassador of Japan to Bosnia and Herzegovina, this evening during his visit to Banja Luka.
"There is no lively economic cooperation at this moment," Ogawa said, stressing that he, and his successor as of April this year will make efforts to promote potentials of BiH in Japan in order to improve this cooperation.
There is somewhat better cooperation is in the field of education, and Ambassador Ogawa said that for the fourth year in a row the University of Sarajevo has a department for the Japanese language and it is also planned to open such department in Banja Luka.
Ambassador Ogawa this evening held a lecture on contemporary trends in Japanese society, economy and bilateral relations between BiH and Japan.
