SARAJEVO, February 6 (FENA) - The Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina Dragan Mektić and the Rector of the University of Tuzla Nermina Hadžigrahić signed today in Sarajevo the Agreement on Professional, Educational, Scientific and Research Cooperation.
The agreement, as stressed, enables the establishment of partnerships and the involvement of the academic community in finding quality responses to increasingly complex security challenges.
“The security sector and the Ministry will always be committed to strengthening cooperation with educational institutions. Prior to the signing, we talked about the initial activities under the Agreement, about cooperation with the medical faculty in the field of forensics and various examinations within the judiciary,” Mr. Mektić said.
Among other things, he added, they also discussed the need to legalize medicinal cannabis.
“The Ministry has been asked for an opinion, but experts should also have their say,” Mr. Mektić said.
