Custody of Suspect Njegoš Purković terminated and prohibiting measures ordered

SARAJEVO, February 8 (FENA) - Deciding upon the Prosecution Motion to order prohibiting measures, on 7 February 2018 the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina rendered the Decision terminating the custody of Suspect Njegoš Purković and ordering the following prohibiting measures:

Ban on leaving the place of residence;

Travel ban, with the seizure of all travel documents issued to the Suspect and ban on issuing new ones, as well as the ban on crossing the border with the use of the ID card;

The imposed prohibiting measures may last as long as necessary, or pending a new Decision of the Court. The review of justifiability of the measures shall be carried out on a bimonthly basis.

Should the Suspect violate the prohibiting measures, he may be ordered into custody, stated the BiH Court. 

Njegoš Purković is suspected of the criminal offense Organized Crime in violation of Article 250 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina as read with the criminal offense of Smuggling in violation of Article 214 of the CC of BIH and the criminal offense of Aggravated Theft in violation of Article 287 of the CC of FBIH and the criminal offense of Extortion in violation of Article 295 of the CC of FBIH in conjunction with Article 53 of the CC of BIH.
