MOSTAR, Feb 8 - The world of entrepreneurship has not been for a long reserved exclusively for people with long-term experience in a specific sector. Although the experience is still invaluable, the concept of startup has significantly changed the world over the last few decades.
Innovation, teamwork, fast growth and commitment are the crucial starting points for startups that play an increasingly important role in the economy. Startups are not unknown either in Mostar, where their number has significantly increased over the recent years.
The establishment of technology parks and business incubators made it easier for young people to take the first steps in entrepreneurship. The INTERA Technology Park has been promoting, supporting and encouraging on a daily basis for about seven years young entrepreneurs to realize their business ideas.
With the aim to further raise the awareness of young people about the possibilities to enter the start-up world, the INTERA Technoly Park, with the support of the United States Embassy, organizes in May this year a Startup Yourself conference that will bring together leading domestic and regional entrepreneurs who will transfer their knowledge and experience.
It will be the opportunity for all those being interested in getting acquainted with the world of entrepreneurship through the experience of the main actors, as well as with all the opportunities offered to young people in Mostar, but also an opportunity to be informed from the first hand whom to turn to for help.
The Sturtup Yourself conference is also the formal completion of the same entitled project through which INTERA Technology Park works on promoting entrepreneurship. Through the project, the fourth cycle of the Startup Academy program was implemented, whose completion is expected on Monday, February 19, 2018. Thanks to the conference, three months later, Mostar will become the center of a regional startup scene for one day. See you soon!
