SARAJEVO, February 8 (FENA) - Italian Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Nicola Minasi has met with BiH Minister of Finance and Treasury Vjekoslav Bevanda with whom he discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries.
Mr. Minasi stressed that Italy had increased its participation in the Western Balkans Investment Fund in order to facilitate the investment of European companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the entire region, stated the Italian Embassy to BiH.
He also reported that, as a result of the BiH Government’s adoption of the Rural Development Strategy, two agreements with Italy, one for rural development and the other in the field of environmental protection, became viable.
This could make available the assistance in the total amount of eight million euros, which is a sign that EU-based reforms could attract much more resources to Bosnia and Herzegovina, stated the Embassy of Italy to BiH.
