MOSTAR, Feb 21 (FENA) - People from the Croatian Party of BiH find disgraceful the decision of the HDZ BiH and SNSD MPs in the BiH parliament not to support the initiative urging the relevant authorities of Herzegovina-Neretva, Hercegbosnia, West-Herzegovina and Posavina Cantons to amend and supplement the cantonal constitutions with the aim to provide for constitutional equality of Serb people.
"It is unacceptable and strategically absolutely fatal to treat the constitutionality of a people as 'Swedish table' and selfishly take that what suits you at a time and in an area. That is an unserious and unacceptable policy that can leave great consequences and harm to the Croatian national interests throughout BiH, "said president Skopljakovic in the public statement issued by the Croatian Party of BiH.
People from the party urged political representatives and institutions in the cantons with the Croat majority to find strength and demonstrate political maturity to incorporate provisions on full constitutionality of Serbs in their constitutions.
