SARAJEVO, January 18 (FENA) - Exhibition that shows experience of refugee children from Syria with harrowing war and migrant testimonies from a child's point of view will open on January 27 at the Museum of Wartime Childhood in Sarajevo, Director of the Museum Jasminko Halilović told FENA.
He added the exhibition was produced in cooperation with four partner organizations from Lebanon and that together they collected items, documents, testimonies of refugee children from Syria who found a temporary home in Lebanon.
Preparation of the exhibition in Sarajevo was a challenging process and employees of the Museum had to be very careful, but they are happy with the results.
"With this exhibition we want to encourage better understanding of experiences of the refugee children. We want to show people the problems they are dealing with at such a young age. I believe that given the migrant crisis in Europe and here such exhibition can contribute to better understanding of refugees, especially children," emphasized Halilović.
Exhibition will be open for seven days and after Sarajevo it will be displayed in Beirut, Lebanon and several European cities.
