SARAJEVO, October 25 (FENA) - Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Vice President Milan Dunović laid flowers today and paid tribute to the victims of the Kazani site on the slopes of Trebević.

"I've been coming to Kazan for the fifth year. I would appeal to the City of Sarajevo to build a memorial to the victims because in that way Sarajevo would remove the distance that the city and its citizens have from what happened in Kazani since this war crime was committed not by members of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina but by individuals," Dunović said.

Funds have been earmarked for the construction of the monument from the Cabinet of the Vice-President of the FBiH in the previous convocation, but nothing has happened since.

In this regard, City Councilor Samir Fazlić pointed out that the construction program of the memorial was completed last year, and hopes that it will be adopted by the end of the year.

Representatives of the Serb Civic Council - the Movement for Equality in BiH - also laid flowers in Kazani today.

"In the last 24 years, we have unsolved crimes in BiH. The judiciary and the prosecution have also failed there," said the President of the Serb Civic Council - the Movement for Equality in BiH Zoran Jovanović, who paid tribute to the innocent victims today.
