SARAJEVO, April 12 (FENA) - The United States Ambassador to BiH, Eric Nelson expressed content with the fact that, together with the Head of the Delegation of the European Union to BiH and the Special Representative of the EU, Ambassador Johan Sattler he helped BiH to reach an agreement on the IMF loan for the country.
He stressed that the agreement reached will enable the IMF to respond more quickly and to provide prompt assistance to respond to impending emergencies, thus paving the way to further assistance.
"Democratic governments really need to act differently in times of crisis. They should work in a more coordinated way, there should be more confidence, more transparency and faster action," said Ambassador Nelson.
He added that "this new coordinating body for the economic response should help us act faster and act more effectively."
"This is a time in which we all struggle together, in which we are all exposed to danger, where we all need to act together. All countries are facing this crisis. Indeed, what is important both in healthcare and economy is the common good," said Ambassador Nelson.
