SARAJEVO, February 4 (FENA) - The 11th Ministerial Conference on Healthcare held in Sarajevo today focused on the work already done and the agreed activities for the future. The conference focused on the introduction of digital Covid certificates for the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina in accordance with European standards and requirements.
In order to implement the conclusion of the Council of Ministers of BiH, the Ministry of Civil Affairs of BiH within its competencies identified the Agency for Identification Documents - IDDEEA as an institution for technical maintenance of a single point of exchange of digital COVID certificates in BiH with the European Union.
It was agreed that in the next seven days a coordination body will be established to manage the process of establishing, managing and maintaining a single point of data exchange for BiH on the basis of consensus, and will prepare a protocol on implementation.
The coordinating body consists of competent institutions at all levels of government in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Ministry of Civil Affairs will organize a meeting with representatives of competent institutions at which technical solutions will be presented.
The Ministerial Conference also discussed and accepted the information on the implementation of the COVAX agreement and stated that the implementation with GAVI has been unsatisfactory, and it is necessary to prepare a joint platform for negotiations with GAVI on further cooperation, the BiH Ministry of Civil Affairs said.
