NEUM, August 11 (FENA) – After the heavy rain on Wednesday extinguished the fire on Mount Žaba near Neum, firefighters are on the ground and there is no need for the intervention of BiH Armed Forces, the Civil Protection of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton reported.
“Both forest fires near Konjic are under control. At the moment, there is no need for the engagement of the BiH Armed Forces helicopter," the report states.
In the last 24 hours, firefighters had seven more interventions in the area of Herzegovina, namely in Mostar, Čapljina and Stolac.
