SARAJEVO, April 9 (FENA) - The Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH, Fadil Novalić, and the Director of the FBiH Motorways, Elmedin Voloder, visited the construction site of the Hranjen tunnel.
"We have allocated another 20 million KM for the construction of the Hranjen tunnel at the last session of the FBiH Government on Thursday, so we came to see how it will be used together with last year's 40 million KM. Therefore, about 60 million KM are available for construction of the Hranjen tunnel," said Novalić.
He emphasized that they were satisfied with what they saw on the ground as the works are being carried out in a more stable area now.
The representative of FBiH Motorways, Samir Pirić, said they are happy that the Prime Minister came to the construction site of the Hranjen tunnel to inform himself about the works that are currently being carried out.
"We found design solutions for the problems we had in the previous period, and we also informed the Prime Minister about the plans for the continuation of the works," said Pirić.
He added that the works foreseen in the second contract are being carried out and their implementation run until September of this year. According to him, FBiH Motorways are preparing a new tender that will enable the continuation of the work in continuity, and the financial resources are secured for the next year as well.
