SARAJEVO, March 7 (FENA) - Minister of Security of BiH Dragan Mektić and newly appointed Director of the office of Konrad Adenauer Foundation in BiH Sven Petke met in Sarajevo yesterday and discussed the European path of BiH, implementation of the election results, illegal migrations and return of persons who were at battlefields in Syria.
Minister Mektić informed Director Petke about BiH's stance on these issues and future measures BiH plans to take regarding these areas.
He said he regrets there is no uniform stance and solution of the EU on stopping illegal migrations, stressing that countries of the Western Balkans, including BiH, have become victims of such instances.
He repeated that BiH wants to be part of the common solution of the EU and countries of the region, "because that is the only way it can efficiently confront illegal migrations".
Furthermore, it was emphasized that EU should bring back the focus on the Western Balkans, strengthen the perspective and integration processes of countries of the region to the EU, Ministry of Security of BiH stated.
