SARAJEVO, March 26 (FENA) - The movement "Mothers of the Srebrenica and Žepa enclaves" announced that they hold the Bosnia and Herzegovina Prosecutor's Office responsible for the attack on Bosniak returnees in the RS in which the elderly couple Memišević were brutally beaten because it is relentless in its refusal to prosecute the previous murders and physical attacks on returnees.
The association adds that that institution does not know or does not want to process deniers of genocide and other war crimes in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which, with the wholehearted support of Milorad Dodik, has given additional freedom to the perpetrators, to freely and without fear of bearing any responsibility, continue attacks on returnees in the RS.
They called on international officials in BiH from the UN, PIC, EU and OSCE, instead of verbally condemning the attack, to act in accordance with the UN Action Plan on the Prevention of Genocide from 2007.
"The attack on returnees is part of the regime's policy in the RS because how else to interpret the fact that not a single murder, hundreds of physical attacks, thousands of verbal attacks on returnees have ever received a judicial epilogue, nor did the victims receive any compensation for the damage suffered," the Movement underlined.
