SARAJEVO, October 2 (FENA) - The United States Senator Jeanne Shaheen, who is visiting Bosnia and Herzegovina,  stopped by a polling station in the Secondary Grammar School "Druga gimnazija" in Sarajevo this morning.

She said that she was very happy to have arrived in Sarajevo and to have the opportunity to participate in the OSCE observation mission.

"I have been to Sarajevo many times, I love this country and I care that the entire voting process takes place in the best possible manner," Shaheen told the media.

She underlined that the voting process is running without problems and expressed hope that it will remain so until the end of the day.

During the day, the US Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Michael Murphy and Shaheen, visited several more polling stations, at Dobrinja Grammar School in Sarajevo and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Vocational School "28 June" in Lukavica in East Sarajevo.
