EUROJUST prosecutors visit the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina

SARAJEVO, July 6 (FENA) - As part of a two-day visit to the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, a group of about 20 prosecutors, including representatives of EUROJUST, as well as liaison and contact point prosecutors with EUROJUST from countries in the region, visited the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Chief prosecutor Milanko Kajganić, prosecutor who is the contact point for cooperation with EUROJUST Sanja Ljuboje-Romić, prosecutor Ahmed Mešić from the Department for the fight against human trafficking and illegal migration, as well as other prosecutors and employees, talked with the visitors about all the important aspects from the scope of work and jurisdiction of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with an emphasis on international cooperation and the fight against organized crime.

Also, colleagues from EUROJUST informed the officials of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina about the possible tools of communication and cooperation within this EU agency, which strengthen the cooperation of criminal justice institutions.

The group of prosecutors who visited the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina included colleagues from Serbia, Albania, North Macedonia, and Montenegro, as well as EUROJUST officials from EU countries.
