Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor’s Office expands probe into fatal tram crash

SARAJEVO, February 18 (FENA) – After the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo rejected the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor’s Office’s request to order one month of pre-trial detention for the tram driver, the acting prosecutors, taking into account the court’s position—having established that there is reasonable suspicion that the driver committed the criminal offense of endangering public traffic through negligence resulting in death—continued intensive investigative actions in the tram accident case.
