SARAJEVO, March 6 (FENA) - Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH and Minister of Finance and Treasury Vjekoslav Bevanda received today Swiss Ambassador to BiH Andrea Rauber Saxer.
The two officials discussed development cooperation between the two countries, which has been additionally improved in the past year.
Minister Bevanda thanked the Ambassador of Switzerland for the interest shown by the authorities of her country to assist Bosnia and Herzegovina by financing various projects, as well as active engagement in the work of the Donor Coordination Forum (DCF) in BiH.
Bevanda and Saxer agreed that it is necessary to ensure an effective legal framework in order to strengthen economic cooperation and to remove barriers on the businesses and new investments.
The two also agreed that the relations of two friendly countries are at a high level, and that the focus should be on cooperation and opening up space for new investments.
Ambassador Saxer expressed support for the EU path of BiH and stressed that Switzerland remains open to all forms of cooperation, stated the Ministry of Finance and Treasury of BiH.
