SARAJEVO, March 19 (FENA) - Within the framework of the "Divided Past - Joint Future" project implemented by 19 organizations in six Western Balkan countries and Turkey, a national campaign titled "Embracing Damage" is being held in Bosnia and Herzegovina in March and April.
The campaign is being implemented in several steps, and educational activities are currently being conducted for 18 young people from Tuzla on the topic of reconciliation and youth activism in the sphere of peace in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Two-day workshops held in the Youth Resource Center were an introduction to field activities that will be held in Tuzla.
In addition to the presentation of "Process of reconciliation in the Western Balkans and Turkey: A Qualitative Study", which is available at http://jointfuture.org/news/qualitative-study/, the street performance was held with the goal of sending a peace message from Tuzla, as well as the planting of a tree that will be located in City Park Tuzla.
This research mapped and analyzed various types of effective reconciliation models in Europe and beyond.
The overall goal of this project is that government institutions recognize civil society organizations as an important social factor with a strong capacity for peace and reconciliation, the Youth Communication Center (YCC) Banja Luka stated.
