SARAJEVO, March 28 (FENA) - A quality control facility totaling at 3,350 square meters, equipped with modern laboratories for chemical, microbiological and biological testing, was opened today in the complex of the pharmaceutical company Bosnalijek in Sarajevo.
At the opening of the facility the management of the company emphasized that the space is designed to improve the business efficiency of laboratory processes, and that the idea, the design, construction and equipping of the new quality control facility was conducted under the up-to-date technological solutions that ensure a safe and healthy working environment for employees, with the environmentally safe impact of the laboratory processes.
“The new quality control facility is fully aligned with the development strategy of Bosnalijek and as such is capable of testing the existing and new generations of generic as well as innovative drugs. One of the strategic goals of Bosnalijek is constant improvement of the portfolio and continuous supply of the market with quality products of the latest generation,” said the General Manager of Bosnalijek, Nedim Uzunović.
He emphasized that the opening of this modern quality control facility, together with the growth of production, will create conditions for additional employment of highly qualified experts, primarily in the fields of pharmacy, chemistry and microbiology.
