SARAJEVO, April 24 (FENA) - The 9th International Fair of Entrepreneurship and Crafts "Grapos Expo" opened today in Gračanica.
The Director of the Fair, Nedžad Nuhanović, said at the opening that this year's fair had set the record for the exhibitor's interest and that there were 332 exhibitors from Bosnia and Herzegovina and six countries in the region and the European Union.
“Without the economy, crafts and entrepreneurship coming together, without the exchange of goods, knowledge and experience, the conclusion of various forms of cooperation cannot be successful,” Mr. Nuhanović said.
Municipal Mayor Nusret Helić said he was happy that Gračanica will be the center of entrepreneurship and business in Bosnia and Herzegovina for the next three days, as well as the host for numerous businessmen from the country and abroad, representatives of the government and other guests.
“We especially want to tell young people that it is possible to work here, to work and build a better future,” Mr. Helić said.
The traditional fair of entrepreneurship and crafts of a wide spectrum, international character and development-educational orientation, which has been held in Gračanica for years, is the largest fair of this type in BiH, and it is one of the largest in the region.
This year's partner of the fair is the Croatian Chamber of Trades and Crafts, which organized the arrival of craftsmen from all parts of the neighboring country.
The organizer of the fair is Boms-expo, in cooperation with the Ministry of Entrepreneurship, Crafts and Development of the Tuzla Canton, the Municipality of Gračanica and other partners.
The fair will be open until April 28th.
