Minister Jusko presents BiH's progress in transport safety at Leipzig Forum

SARAJEVO, May 23 (FENA) - At the invitation of the International Transport Forum (ITF), Minister of Communications and Transport of BiH, Ismir Jusko, is taking part in the annual Ministerial Conference " Transport Safety and Protection" in Leipzig.

The ministerial panels have covered a number of important topics, from measures to improve road safety, measures to overcome barriers to safe and efficient international road transport, to the measures to increase safety in rail and air transport.

In his presentation before the EU ministers and representatives of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Turkey, Minister Jusko presented the situation and the achieved progress of Bosnia and Herzegovina in these areas, as well as the harmonization of BiH regulations with the Quality Charter concerning the access to the market for international road transport services.

Representatives of ITF and other participants of the Forum commended the progress that Bosnia and Herzegovina has made in these segments, stated the BiH Ministry of Communications and Transport.
