SARAJEVO, August 22 (FENA) - Central Eid ceremony of the Islamic Community in BiH was held at Gazi Husrev-bey's Mosque in Sarajevo yesterday on the occasion of one of the most significant Muslim holidays, Eid al-Adha.
Eid prayer and khutba was delivered by Raisu-l-ulama Husein ef. Kavazović.
"We are all Allah's creatures, regardless of our differences. Today, when some are encouraging divisions among us, we needs God's rope, we need faith in the Almighty, who will gather us around the same outcome," said Rais Kavazović.
He added that power of our people and community lies in the future and determination to confront ideological-political kleptomania and passion this ideology of evil develops.
"We live in a time where lie is trying to be imposed as the truth and value, whereas justification and understanding is asked for the evil, crime and criminals. There are two paths ahead of us. First is the path of meeting, sharing and joy. Second one is the one of bitterness. We need faith in unity and responsibility towards our common destiny," added Rais.
Finally, he wished all believers to share the joy of Eid with their loved ones, neighbors and friends.
"May Eid al-Adha bring back our faith for a better tomorrow, may unity in faith and love bring back our confidence. I extend special congratulations to our brothers in Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Kosovo, Macedonia and Montenegro, and Muslims in Bosniak diaspora and all Muslims in the world. Bajram šerif mubarek olsun!", concluded Raisu-l-ulama Husein ef. Kavazović.
