SARAJEVO, January 16 (FENA) - Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Šefik Džaferović received today the EUFOR Commander, Major General Martin Dorfer with whom he exchanged views on the progress in the sectors of security and defense in BiH.
Dorfer informed Džaferović about the activities in the preparation of the "Quick Response" exercise in 2019, assessing that cooperation with the BiH institutions and the Armed Forces has been extremely good.
The two officials also discussed the continuation of demining activities and the destruction of surplus ammunition and weapons.
The topic of the discussion was also the path of BiH towards EU and NATO integrations.
They agreed on the existing good cooperation and coordination between EUFOR and the NATO headquarters in Sarajevo.
Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Šefik Džaferović expressed his support for the activities of EUFOR and assessed their mission to maintain stability and security in BiH as highly successful, stated the BiH Presidency.
