SARAJEVO, January 29 (FENA) - Professor Emeritus at the Faculty of Law in Sarajevo, Zdravko Grebo, died this morning at the age of 71.
He has been teaching at the Law Faculty for more than 40 years.
He was a member of the Executive Board of the Bosnian Peace Corps, the founder of the HCA for the former Yugoslavia, the Director of the Law Center of FOD BiH, the Director of the International Postgraduate Program "European Studies" and the founder of the Open Society of Bosnia and Herzegovina (the Soros Foundation).
He graduated from the Faculty of Law in Sarajevo in 1970. He completed his postgraduate studies and earned his doctorate at the University of Belgrade.
He received Peace and fight against Racism and Xenophobia Award of the European Club in 1994, the Roosevelt Medal in 1994 and the French Legion of Honor Order in 2003.
The funeral of Professor Emeritus Zdravko Grebo, as FENA learns at the Faculty of Law, will take place on Friday at Bare cemetery in Sarajevo.
