SARAJEVO, February 25 (FENA) - BiH institutions completed answers to additional 655 questions from the Questionnaire of the European Commission, which have been determined and harmonized in Coordination Mechanism bodies, and these answers were unanimously adopted during yesterday's extraordinary telephone session by the Council of Ministers.

Chairman of the BiH CoM Denis Zvizdić confirmed at the press conference in Sarajevo today that the answers will be delivered to Brussels, and that BiH has now fulfilled all conditions for the candidate status for membership in the EU.

Zvizdić added he hopes that efforts of BiH will be recognized in Brussels and that BiH will be given a candidate status, which will "lead it to full membership in the EU".

"If there had been enough political will this could have been done earlier," said Zvizdić.

European Commission delivered 655 additional questions to BiH, which is 20 percent of questions from the Questionnaire delivered in December 2016.

Most additional questions, 106 of them, refer to political criteria, whereas the European Commission asked 33 additional questions in economic criteria.
