Briefing held in Sarajevo for EBRD member states’ diplomatic representatives

SARAJEVO, March 20 (FENA) - A briefing for diplomatic representatives of countries represented in the Board of Governors of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) was held yesterday in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The meeting, which brought together about fifty high-level diplomats accredited to BiH, was held with the aim of presenting information on the preparations for the 28th annual meeting of the EBRD Board of Governors and the subsequent Business Forum, which will be held in Sarajevo from 7 to 9 May this year.

The meeting of the Board of Governors of the EBRD is the central event of the upcoming three-day gathering.

The high-level panel on the Western Balkans will be held on May 8, with the participation of the leaders of the six countries of the Western Balkans, followed by a session devoted to the presentation of investment opportunities.

This high level business and political event, will gather 500 officials in 70 delegations, headed by the EBRD Governor, 700 business guests, representatives of domestic and foreign media, NGOs and civil society, 150 members of EBRD operational staff, 200 members of logistics staff of EBRD, 150 host country officials - a total of about 2,000 people, announced the MFA BiH.
