SARAJEVO, April 2 (FENA) - Minister of Defense of BiH Marina Pendeš met yesterday with the NATO Expert Team for Defense education enhancement program-DEEP, which was led by Marc Di Paolo, Director of the Capacity Building Defense Institute.
Visit was planned by the Military Section of the BiH Mission to NATO in Brussels within cooperation program between BiH and NATO, after Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces of BiH were approved to join NATO project for defense education enhancement program in November last year.
Minister once again thanked NATO and Commander of NATO Headquarters in Sarajevo General Marta Bissell for efforts towards ensuring that BiH Armed Forces have high degree of interoperability with NATO.
Head of the NATO Expert Team Marc Di Paolo emphasized that the program is based on needs and requests of Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces of BiH and that NATO will help in professional assistance and resources.
Paolo said he expects guidelines to be adopted and implementation of the project to begin soon, PR Office of BiH MoD stated.
