SARAJEVO, April 18 (FENA) - The Chamber of Commerce of the Federation of BiH (PKFBiH) today hosted a signing of cooperation agreement in the framework of the project "Development of Workforce and Market Access - WHAM" financed by USAID, in order to assist BiH automotive industry companies to take part in the Global Automotive Components and Suppliers Expo 2019 in Stuttgart.
The agreement was signed by the Vice-President of the PKFBiH Mirsad Jašarspahić and the Project Manager Fuad Čurčić.
This is a continuation of successful business cooperation started last year when the USAID WHAM project also supported the activities carried out by the PKFBiH, i.e. the participation of BiH companies at the prestigious IZB2018 fair in the German city of Wolfsburg.
This time support is reflected in the financing of a large part of the cost of presenting the companies at the Global Automotive Components and Suppliers Expo 2019, which will be held from May 21 to 23 in Stuttgart, within one of five thematic units within the framework of "Stuttgart Automotive Week".
Six BiH companies will have the opportunity to present their latest products and achievements for the first time to more than 900 exhibitors from more than 50 countries in the world.
The WHAM project is designed to stimulate the creation of new jobs through the enhancement of trade integration of BiH and expansion to the EU and the region.
Priority and focus of the project are fast-moving, export-oriented companies with the aim of expanding their capacities, accessing new markets and the ability to generate new jobs.
With support of USAID’s WHAM project, the companies will be provided with better promotion, education from experts with the aim of better preparation for participation at designated fairs and familiarizing with the latest trends in the automotive industry of Europe and the world today, stated the FBiH Chamber of Commerce.
