ZENICA, May 2 (FENA) - Alliance of Independent Trade Unions of Bosnia and Herzegovina (SSSBiH) organized a central celebration of May 1 – International Workers’ Day in Zenica yesterday, where hundreds of union members gathered in front of management building of the ironworks company “Željezara” Zenica.
“I want those responsible for status of workers in the Federation of BiH to hear and read these messages and I want us to support workers of ‘Željezara’ Zenica,” emphasized president of SSSBiH Selvedin Šatorović, noting that 78 of their colleagues, workers of “Željezara“ Zenica, have fulfilled conditions for pension but are still unable to retire because their benefits have not been paid.
He emphasized they need to stand with those who are in this difficult situation, because tomorrow it will be someone else.
