SARAJEVO, August 1 (FENA) - On July 31, the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Washington participated in the International Higher Education Fair "Education USA Forum and Global Showcase".
The Education USA Forum is sponsored by the United States Department of Foreign Affairs.
The Education USA program is part of the US Department of State's network of more than 400 international student and student advisory centers in more than 170 countries, the BiH Foreign Ministry said.
This network promotes higher education in the US worldwide, offering accurate, comprehensive and up-to-date information on study opportunities at accredited US higher education institutions.
Education USA Counseling Centers work with US Embassies and Consulates, Fulbright Commissions, university and nonprofit organizations. Each year, Education USA Advisers work with numerous students around the world to offer a wide range of advisory services, most notably in the areas of admission processes, standardized testing, U.S. education funding, student visa applications and preparation for departure to the United States.
Embassy of BiH representatives had the opportunity for professionals at accredited US universities who want to enroll, recruit and support international students in the US, present the basics and priorities for the development of BiH higher education, and the legislative and strategic framework of higher education.
Visitors to the booth and interlocutors were particularly attracted by the data on trends and opportunities of academic and professional exchange programs in the field of higher education between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the USA, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina said in a press release.
