Cycling event held at Bosna River Spring to mark 'European Car-Free Day'

SARAJEVO, September 20 (FENA) - As part of the marking of European Car-Free Day, the Public Institution for Protected Natural Areas of the Sarajevo Canton organized a cycling event today at the Bosna River Spring.

The bicycle ride gathered students fromten Ilidža elementary schools and students of the Secondary Technical School for Design and Multimedia Ilidža and the Fourth Ilidža Grammar School, told FENA expert associate for promotion and marketing of the Cantonal Public Institution for Protected Natural Areas Mustafa Zvizdić.

More than 200 students participated, and the start of the bicycle ride was at the beginning of the Grand Alley up to the Bosna River Spring.

Zvizdić emphasized that this cycling event has become a tradition and is marked the ninth year in a row, as part of a project to mark significant ecological dates that this institution implements in cooperation with primary and secondary schools.

More than 10,000 students participated in this project so far.
