SARAJEVO, October 1 (FENA) - Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH and Minister of Finance and Treasury Vjekoslav Bevanda received today the newly appointed Director of the Office of the German Development Bank (KfW), Adam Drosdzol, to discuss meeting the conditions for new projects in BiH.
Bevanda welcomed the new KfW director, wishing him success in his future work, with support from the BiH Ministry of Finance and Treasury, as good cooperation has been ongoing for two decades and has produced a number of projects for the benefit of BiH citizens.
The collocutors agreed that the projects financed by KfW have been successfully implemented and that the procedures for signing the contracts to be concluded by the end of the year have been finalized or are in the final stage of the procedure with the Council of Ministers and the BiH Presidency.
Bevanda and Drosdzol emphasized that everything is ready for the signing of the contract for the wastewater project in Gradiška, and that it is necessary to complete the procedures for signing the contract in energy efficiency projects in the public facilities of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, while those procedures have been completed in RS.
The interlocutors also agreed that KfW's projects are particularly important because they are accompanied by significant grant funds, this being even more of a reason to implement the previously signed financing agreements in order to finalize the initiated loan projects, as well as the related grant funds, stated the BiH Ministry of Finance and Treasury.
