MRKONJIĆ GRAD, January 29 (FENA) - Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić during today’s visit to Mrkonjić Grad said that cooperation between his country and the entity of Republika Srpska is very much needed, and announced assistance, especially in job creation and investments in education.

After visiting the Grammar School and the School of Mechanical Engineering in Mrkonjić Grad, for which Serbia will allocate 600,000 KM for equipping with computers and CNC machines, he announced investments in infrastructure. Later today, he will also attend the opening of a production plant of the Serbian company "Jumko" in Drvar, where100 workers will be employed.

“We can live in different countries, but we are one and the same people, wherever we might live,” said Vučić in his address to the gathered citizens, expressing support for the Serbian Orthodox Church.

He said he is committed to cooperation with everyone, but also to the preservation of the Serb identity, and that "Serbia is becoming stronger every day, with the support of the RS."

“We do not want anything that does not belong to us, but as a people, we have gone through so many tragedies, so we will never allow anyone to banish us from our land, there will be no more 'Storms', or tractors in the future for the Serbs, but only jobs, schools, restored health centers, kindergartens full of children, and looking towards the future. We have nothing against anyone, we only want love and respect and we want everything together with everyone else, just let us be on our own and let us preserve our name, our religion,” said the Serbian president.

The BiH Presidency member Milorad Dodik said that Vučić's visit to this local community was important and that, “only those with malicious intent will see something wrong in it.”

Vučić thanked Dodik for attending this visit, even though his father passed away last night.

The visit of the president of Serbia to Mrkonjić Grad was also attended by the RS Prime Minister Radovan Višković and the BiH Council of Ministers Chairman Zoran Tegeltija.

Later today, Vučić is scheduled to visit Drvar.
