SARAJEVO, March 15 (FENA) - The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina has today, at the proposal of the BiH Ministry of Security, issued a Decision on additional conditions for the entry of foreigners into Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Decision lays down additional conditions for the entry of foreign nationals into BiH, related to the ban on the entry of foreign nationals coming from certain areas with intensive coronavirus epidemic, in order to prevent the spread and control of COVID-19, as well as the need for possession of certain travel documents.
Entry into BiH to foreign nationals from areas with coronavirus intensive transmission, especially from the provinces of China (Wuhan), South Korea, Japan, Italy, Iran, France, Romania, Germany, Austria, Spain, Switzerland and Belgium, is prohibited.
Foreign nationals may enter BiH only with a valid passport, and a foreign citizen who is prohibited from entering the territory of BiH, the BiH Border Police issues a decision refusing entry in accordance with the Law on Foreign Nationals.
The BiH Council of Ministers tasked the BiH Ministry of Foreign Affairs to notify the diplomatic consular representative offices on the implementation of this Decision. The decision enters into force on the day of its adoption and is published in the "Official Gazette of BiH", the Council of Ministers of BiH announced.
