BIHAĆ, April 15 (FENA) - So far, 733 people have been tested for coronavirus in the Una-Sana Canton (USC), and 57 positive cases have been confirmed.
Currently, 39 people are in the process of treatment, 12 have been cured, while six deaths are linked to COVID-19 disease, according to the USC Ministry of Health Crisis Staff.
“We have 14 clusters, nine in Bihać, three in Cazin, and one in Velika Kladuša and Bosanska Krupa. We are also monitoring a new potential cluster in Bosanski Petrovac, as it was confirmed this morning that one person from that municipality is positive. Special attention was focused on family contacts, and we also isolated work colleagues who were in contact with a positive person,” said Cantonal Minister of Health Nermina Ćemalović.
Twelve patients are currently hospitalized at Dr. Irfan Ljubijankić Cantonal Hospital in Bihać.
“Twelve people are placed in the isolation ward of the Infectious Diseases Department, 11 of whom are coronavirus positive. One patient is suspected, however a sample is taken and we expect a test result. One patient is in intensive care, on a ventilator,” said Director of the Cantonal Hospital in Bihać, Hajrudin Havić.
