SARAJEVO, April 28 (FENA) - The Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Health Minister Vjekoslav Mandić has appealed to citizens in FBiH that mitigation of the measures that have taken place should not be seen as an end of the coronavirus pandemic.

At today's press conference, officials asked citizens to continue to adhere to the measures proposed by professionals, such as maintaining social distance, wearing masks and gloves, avoiding gatherings of groups of people, otherwise there is a risk of further spread COVID -19 pandemic.

"There may be an increase in the number of infected, which the health system cannot respond to. The measures have been eased and we will continue to mitigate them, but please do not take that as absolute freedom for public gatherings, especially now for the May Day holidays," Mandić said.

He also referred to the possibility of children returning to kindergartens and stressed that the Civil Protection Crisis Staff has yet to consider this possibility in the coming period.
